No, not in the way you might think.

I have re-discovered the joy of the Swiffer.  Cat hair, begone!  I thought there was no way to ever get up all the cat hair that accumulates faster than the speed of light in this hot and humid weather.  But I bought a Swiffer mop today and some refills, and the joy has begun.  I can walk around my apartment in my bare feet without feeling a little ew.  It’s a beautiful thing.

I’ve also had a rebirth of sorts in my career.  I had a little crisis at the beginning of the summer where I was almost ready to just give up and start a job in administration or something.  But, as always happens, things have worked themselves out.  In fact, things have worked out so well that I actually have 2 gigs overlapping this fall.  So if you haven’t seen me or talked to me in a while, as most of your haven’t, which is as much my fault as yours, now is the time because starting the end of this month I will be extremely busy.  Right now my show is running at Steppenwolf with only 2 shows a week so I have loads of time.

And one final note – if you’ve had your head under a rock and haven’t heard about the fight between Illinois and BP (British Petroleum) PLEASE do not buy gas or anything else from BP until this mess is cleared up.  There’s a link below.
